Since it can take up to six weeks to fully heal from giving birth vaginally and possibly even longer for a C-section, self-love, patience, and a few helpful self-care products for a birthing mom’s body are essential. Our Postpartum Recovery Essentials Kit (each worth $55) provides items that ease postpartum pain to help moms stay more comfortable during recovery. Our pretty pink boxes include the following:
- Disposable Postpartum Underwear (boy shorts style)
- Perineal Cooling Spray
- Peri Bottle
- Pads
- Perineal Ice Packs (for cold therapy and heat therapy)
- Postpartum Recovery Tea
The Glamorous Moms Foundation Postpartum Recovery Essentials Kits are to serve women in birthing centers, pregnancy support groups, pregnancy centers, Doula programs, and local organizations supporting women through labor and childbirth. We strive to work closely with our community partners to ensure moms get the care they need to heal comfortably.

To date, we’ve gifted 140 Postpartum Recovery Essentials Kits worth approximately ($42 each) $5,880 in total:
- 100 kits to Ascension Providence OB/GYN Academic Clinic Southfield is a medical group practice located in Southfield, MI specializing in Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Prenatal Care.
- 20 kits to Trinity Health Acedemic Obstetrics and Gynecology – Ann Arbor Campus
- 20 kits to The Luke Clinic – Detroit Mobile Unit offering uninsured and underinsured women medical care, support and infant/mother essentials and resources.
