The 2022 Glamorous Luncheon & Fashion Show was held, Saturday, May 21, 2022, from 10 am – 2 pm at the Townsend Hotel in Birmingham, Michigan.
This is an annual fundraising event to support the GMF mission: To provide support, inspire, and build confidence in women and children in our community to enhance the quality of life, leading them to health, happiness, and safety. We strive to bring comfort and life necessities (education, daily needs, and monetary support) to those less fortunate to make meaningful change.
Proceeds from the event will allow us to purchase life necessity items for women, children, new moms, infants, and families in Michigan who are in dire need of support.
The Glamorous Luncheon, sponsored by the Valerie Johnson Foundation, Silver Shamrocks, and Be Scene Boutique was emceed by Detroit radio personality Lauren Crocker, co-host of The Blaine Fowler Morning Show on 96.3 WDVD. Our Event Chair, and GMF President, Shannon Lazovski, along with the help of several volunteers, planned a beautiful afternoon for guests which included vendor shopping (with local female entrepreneurs/vendors), a plated lunch & dessert, a silent auction, and professional networking.
Sponsored by Your Entourage Agency and Christina Del Ré, a fashion show by local Michigan designers was also a part of our special day including children’s designs by nationally known, Michigan designer, Christina Palombit of children’s fashion brand, Christina Del Ré.
